M. Jesus Whole Piquillo Peppers Exclusively from Navarra, Spain

These piquillo peppers are produced in Navarra by a small producer that stills uses traditional methods. The peppers are roasted over wood fire, then pealed by hand, and packed. No water touches the peppers after roasting! That is specially important to preserve the natural flavor and color. It is packed in small containers to ensure the sterilization hit will be homogeneous and fast as to prevent any over-cooking. No preservatives of any kind are added (no citric acid either)! 

There are many Piquillo Peppers in the market (most of them produced in Peru!), but we haven't been able to find any that compare to ours in terms of flavor, size, color, and strength that makes them perfect for an addition as a purée to Chorizo, or any Spanish inspired meat project.

One can yields a little over 300g of whole Piquillo Peppers. Purée them to form a paste. Do NOT add water to form the paste! Keep the flavor pure. 

One can will season 66# of Chorizo, or any meat paste if used at 1% usage level. This is standard, but 2% is very good!
